I want to be heard, and before I found spoken word it felt as if I had been screaming into empty rooms. Through poetry, I have found a way to express myself. I have always enjoyed literature but it was the combination of this and the performance of it all where I found my motivation to continue living. I was introduced to spoken word by a teacher during an alienated time in my life; ever since I have immersed myself in the process of pouring my heart out on the table to let people in allowing me commuicate my emotions.
