Hello! My name is Justine Uwizeyimana, I am a driven engineering student at Clemson University with a deep passion for materials science and a commitment to creating meaningful technological solutions. Growing up as an African woman in America, I learned early on what it means to navigate the pressures of assimilation while striving to be the best just to be considered equal. I know firsthand how mental and physical challenges can feel like they short circuit your brain, but I have also discovered that no matter what card I was dealt, I can overcome it. My life goal is to prove to the world that no matter the obstacles, I can rise above them and build a stable, purposeful future not only for myself but for my family. I am passionate about using my education to contribute to innovations that improve everyday life, and I believe my resilience, determination, and unwavering faith make me a strong candidate for opportunities that support my journey
