Mechanics just runs in my family's blood. I was born to a mother and father at the time who both built and drove derby cars for fun. From the time I was big enough to hold a wrench, I was working on cars and trucks, tractors, 4-wheelers, go-karts, and pretty much anything that needed fixing or tuned up. Throughout my high school career, I have been taking automotive classes to learn more and get the certifications that I needed to further my career in the field. I enjoy everything about it, from being able to tear apart a motor and diagnose a problem to fixing the issue and putting it back together. The most satisfying part of the whole process is being able to start up a vehicle and drive it after fixing an issue and knowing that I was able to do that with my own two hands. Automotives have always been interesting to me both at home and in school and I look forward to being able to continue my education and go to a technical school so I can have a long successful career in the field for years to come.
