My name Is Jusdin Kamuf, and my ultimate goal is to become an educator, specifically, a Chemistry and Economics educator. I want students around the world to know HOW to do taxes, as for some apparent reason, that is not a required thing to be taught, ridiculous isn't it? I also want all students have fun in school, and overall, just live their life the way they want to live it. Hopefully, I can manage to set such a good role model for other educators, that an education reformation can take place and hopefully make school a place where our students, our children, YOUR children, can be happy and enjoy themselves while being educated, because at the end of the day, that is what matters the most! I would like to thank my past educators for my education experience, and I hope to put forward the same good experience that was given to me, to my pupils!

Lo Easton's “Wrong Answers Only” Scholarship
1) I deserve this scholarship because I am clearly the most qualified user on this platform without any exceptions. NONE! I discourage any fact checking on this, as already stated, I am clearly the most intelligent, meaning being wrong is impossible.
2) My academic and career goals involve becoming the absolute worst public education teacher ever seen. I am talking free a F for interrupting my class. These students will surely with all hope, be traumatized.
3) A time I have overcame an obstacle was obtaining my driver's license. This task was grueling, but thanks to 37 speeding tickets and 15 counts of reckless driving, I still do not have my license. {Trying again next year, WISH ME LUCK!}
First-Generation Educators Scholarship
The educator who had the most positive impact on my life, would be my high school physics teacher. I will refer to him as Mr. H. Mr. H was the first teacher who ever actually made me think. The first time I asked my-self, Was that a good idea? Should I restart? My high school was a project - based - learning oriented school, rather than large tests, typically your test grades were the grade of a hands-on project that usually last a month that pertains to the current curriculum. For example, one project in Mr. H's class was building a water rocket. This project had teams of 5. One person to design and calculate all potential math for a parachute, body, fuel, nose, and fins. This project was extremely challenging, but through it all, Mr. H was there cheering the students on and ALWAYS finding time to be available throughout the day to be there for you, even if it was not school related. This project in specific showed me one thing, Mr. H contains qualities that most other educators do not.
Mr. H was one of the absolute few educators in my entire life that was incredibly open and available, I cannot even begin to describe how much of game changer this was, especially for a science course. Mr. H, even while teaching arguably the hardest curriculum in the school, always had his students succeeding, and even when his students did fail, he never gave up on them and made sure they understood why they did something wrong and made sure they knew how to correct that said error.
As a first-generation college student, at first, my interest to go to college was driven due to my high school hosting an early college program in which we could attend a college part, or full time while in high school. In my case, I attended full time starting my junior year and managed to graduate high school with my associates in science as well. Soon after my first year of college, something in my brain flipped and instead of chemical engineering, I wanted to become an educator. The reasoning behind this was realizing just how good of a high school experience I had and wanting to push that forward to new students. Almost all of this drive to become an educator stims from my past educators at my high school. Hopefully my aspirations to become an educator, when completed, I can make education just as fun for the next generations as it was for me.
Jusdin Kamuf,
Thank You
Future Teachers of America Scholarship
Becoming a teacher has always been on the dinnerplate for me, but I wasn't sure if it was my main course until sophomore year of high school. My experience in high school was AMAZING. I have spoken to other people about their experiences and many of them dread even hearing the question in the first place. Almost everyone that I spoke with had told me one of two things, they were depressed, or they hated their school. This NEEDS to change.
By becoming an educator, I hope most of all to raise student's morale without denying them a proper education. MY penultimate goal if you will, is to educate the world by setting a good role model for other educators if my ideals work and revolutionize the education industry. Don't get me wrong, there are hundreds, if not, thousands of industries that have issues, but the education industry above them all, needs to be flawless, or at least close. Students who receive an education will typically spend about 1 / 3 of their first 18 years inside of a school, so it is incredibly important that these said students have fun and also get the proper education they need.
One heir arching issue in the education industry that stands out to me as well as many of my peers, is the abundance of homework. A lot of educators simply assign these outrageously long homework assignments that could take up to an hour to complete, this would not necessarily be a problem, if you only have one class... Instead, what happens is for example, if you have 6 classes, and only half of your teachers assign homework, which rarely happens, you could be stuck slaving away at that work for hours after just spending 8 or more hours at school, at home, which is the one place where you are supposed to be truly free. This needs to change.
My philosophy on secondary education in particularly, is that students need to be taught all essential life skills and that they must be taught in a way that shall not hinder their way of life or cause mental degradation.
My aspirations are to at the very least be the absolute best Chemistry and Economics teacher I can be to my pupils and broaden their connections, so that the dreaded job search is as painless as possible. My hope is for students to get absolutely all of the information they need, for instance, why in the world is teaching students how to do taxes, or even cook for themselves not a REQUIRED part of secondary schooling? Skills such as these are nearly vital and are nearly never thought, and I for one think that I may be able to change that. Let us secure a better tomorrow!

Do you remember? Remember when you could come home from school and just *unwind* for the rest of the day. No? Well, nor do I. I just remember having to go home and just sit there slaving away at my schoolwork until it was nearly time to go off to bed. School is becoming a place where students are sent to suffer and that, well, that is just not right. Students have to go to school for eight hours just to have to go home and potentially do one hour's worth of work for each class, this could easily add up to 10 - 14 hours of work, not even counting their potential home responsibilities, ie cooking and cleaning, this is comparable to a person working almost double what is asked of them daily, with just a tap on the shoulder as overtime pay. These are some of the biggest reasons leadership is so important to me. My penultimate goal is to be an educator, and a leader in the education community, as I truly believe reformation is possible, especially with the right individual behind the movement.
At my time at High School, all of our curriculum was demonstrated hands on in the form of group projects, which in turn, lead to a numerous number of times that I was a contracted manager for these groups. These times where I was given the opportunity to lead a group of my peers through challenges and complete tasks were incredibly important to me and have influenced me to choose my career path.
Leadership is EVERYTHING to me, as stated, my end goals are to be an educator, and a leader, in the education profession. I personally believe there are at the bare minimum, a few flaws throughout the education system, not just in our country, but even across the entire globe. The number of times I have heard fellow students tell me they are not feeling well due to school is absolutely asinine. Students should NEVER feel bad or have to declare depression symptoms due to their place of education. My aspirations include making sure my students get to have a great time in school and enjoy their youth, *while they still have it...* By making sure that my students are to have a great time in school and by leading them to their goals, I personally believe I can set an example for other educators and make sure to secure a better tomorrow.
