Bio

I am driven by my desire to build strong, inclusive communities where all people have access to the healing and healthcare that we deserve. I am an aspiring mental healthcare professional who has been accepted to my dream MSW program at Boston College. I am immensely grateful to bold.org for supporting me in making my dream program more financially accessible. I am a passionate nonprofit professional with experience in higher education access and equity, art therapy, restorative justice, and sexual violence prevention. I graduated Bowdoin College Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology & Francophone Studies, where I conducted an advanced independent study exploring issues of educational access and equity at Bowdoin. While at Bowdoin, I was deeply involved in advocacy surrounding sexual assault prevention, tutored at local elementary schools, led service learning trips, and was deeply engaged with the music and theater scene. Outside of my studies, I am a lover of collaboration and creativity; I am a musician, a runner, a sister, and a daughter. I have lived experience with mental illness. I am an advocate for social justice. The challenges I have faced in my own life have deepened my drive to pursue my social work career. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my future goals.
