Currently, a student whos looking to pursue her education in Social Work. I strive to get my degree's so I can work with children in poverty, homelessness, foster home, and other situations. My goal is to advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves and strive to be a better person for the system. My goal is to become a CPS worker who helps the community and be there for those who need it most.

As a Social Work major, I am interested in going into the field of child welfare. I grew up having a CPS worker that was just all-around awful. I want to be the change in the world and the system to really help benefit the children who need it. I also strongly believe that children and adolescents in foster care need more resources and services to really prepare them for life, and help them overcome all of the trauma they have. Almost every child in foster care is there not because of their own fault, so why should they have to suffer more than the average child? My hope is to end the stigma against CPS workers and to really make a difference in the lives of children across the world. Whether it is just preventing removal from the home, or saving a child from poverty and abuse, I feel so passionately about it. These children deserve better, and I hope to make that change for them and continue to advocate for them.
