Golf is a sport that many may not see as a real sport or a hard sport but there is a lot deeper thoguht that goes into golf than other sports. With the deeper mindset needed for golf it is safe to say that you can and might learn lessons that pass on into everyday life. For me playing golf for all 4 years of high school has been a experience I am glad to say I have had. There has been many ups and downs in my golf skill and i believe I can say that going through that is a lesson that I will be able to pass on into regular daily life. I have experienced many times that golf is a extremely hard sport. I have memorize every precise detail about how my swing needs to be. I have had to put thought into how the wind would affect my ball or how it might roll but there are also a lot of factors that are harder to control. While some might see all the effort as just the work put into golf I have come to see that it has a deeper meaning to it. We put all of our effort to make something come out perfect and go the way we want to but it still might not. I have seen that no matter how hard we try we wont always be able to control everything or be able to see everything. I think the lesson I have learned is not to be picky and overthink every small detail and to sometimes just take a step back to breath and come back at a different angle. Just like in golf I find that when I start to get into my head and overthink or swing harder out of frustration it only makes it worse. Sometime we just need to breath, slow down, take a step back, and come back with a fresh mind. While to many golf might seem easy or like an excuse of a sport. I want them to know there is a lot deeper thought behind it. I wish I could help everyone understand that it isn't as simple as stepping up and swinging but that there is life lessons behind the sport, and that there is lots to learn from golf. Golf is a sport that can be played for years and I hope someday that some people that haven't tried golf actually try it out and get to see the lessons and experiences you can get out of it.

Education is a very important thing in our lives. From our first words to college we learn more and always can. Actively pushing to learn more and grow in skills takes lots of dedication and time. When it comes to being successful I try to strive for that when I can. I want to go to college to learn and improve my skills in graphic design to one day be able to support a family. When in the classroom I try my best to understand and learn what is being taught. If I am unable to understand what I am learning I try to get the help I need to understand it. I want to be able to have the opportunity to go to college and learn more and improve my skills. Even now while in highschool I continue to try and improve my skills and get critiqued on projects so I know what I need to improve. Having the opportunity to be able to say you went to college or show that you have a degree is an accomplishment that is hard to get but also very fruitful. Having the opportunity would mean I could continue graphic design as a career and continue to do what appeals to my skills best. My education is important to me because even though I may not be a first generation graduate there have been few to do it within my family and being able to strive and achieve a higher education is something that would help me and make my family proud. While leaving for college could be a hard change it will be a big learning curve and a challenge that proves your strength in the real world. While I plan to go to college I want to be able to learn as much as possible and make the journey one to remember but also be able to say that I actually learned something from it that can help me in the real world. While college is not something that is an easy choice, it is a big choice for whether or not you go. I want to be able to say that I had the opportunity to go to college. I want to be able to say not only that I went to college but that I graduated college and that I got something out of it and made my family proud by doing so. Even though we all go through hardships we should all be given the same opportunity to go to a college of our choice and not have to worry about the financial needs it may require.
