Bio

I am pursuing graduate studies in special education because I want to help build stronger connections between students, families, and schools. My goal is to become an educator and advocate who creates inclusive learning environments where students are challenged, supported, and seen for their potential rather than defined by limitations. I believe education is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting community impact, and I am committed to helping families feel confident navigating educational systems. I am passionate about advocacy through education. Working directly with students has shown me how meaningful change happens when someone takes the time to understand individual needs and provide the right support. As a long-term Resource Specialist Program teacher, I have collaborated with families and educators to help students transition into learning environments where they could thrive. These experiences strengthened my belief that small, intentional decisions can change a student’s confidence and academic path. I believe I am a strong candidate because my commitment to helping others is already reflected in my daily work. I strive to balance empathy with accountability while advocating for students in thoughtful and collaborative ways. Through higher education, I aim to continue growing as an educator who empowers students, supports families, and contributes positively to my community.
