Hello! 👋🏾 I'm a senior in high school with a passion for providing affordable and quality education that empowers young people. Through my involvement in political advocacy groups like LA Voice and CORE, I'm dedicated to driving social justice, advocacy, and education policy in underrepresented communities.
My goal is to study Political Science and African American History and become a community leader, working in the US Department of Education, specifically in the Office for Civil Rights specializing in education policy and advocating for social justice. Currently, I am driven by curiosity about the origins of human rights exploitation and community conflicts, always asking myself, 'What is the source, and how can I help?'
With my experience in legislative research, political campaigning, and community organizing, I am actively honing my skills to continue empowering youth and achieving my goals. Today's youth are already leaders, and if our current systems fail to empower them and give them a voice, then who will?
I truly believe that accessible, quality education is essential for empowering young leaders and creating positive change. Let's connect to discuss education policy, social justice initiatives, or opportunities for collaboration!
"There is in this world no such force as the force of a person determined to rise. The human soul cannot be permanently chained."
