I am a Bridgeland High freshman at Cypress, and I am a faithful Catholic who does believe in God. I am planning to study biochemistry in college as a step toward fulfilling my dream of attending medical school and becoming a surgeon. Because I have enjoyed helping others since a young age, as well as being fascinated by living organisms and the biology of how life works—interests that easily translate into a career in the field of medicine—I will be pursuing honors science classes in high school such as AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics I & II, Anatomy & Physiology Honors, and Pathophysiology Honors. I have also competed at the National Academic Bee and the National Science Bee, making it to the semifinals and quarterfinals, respectively, of events in Washington, D.C., and Orlando, Florida. Beyond academics, I am an accomplished violinist, earning six superior ratings in solos and ensembles, including twice the highest rating at the UIL school ensemble competition. I also represented the U.S. on the National Table Tennis Team in 2022 and 2025. Through the fusion of my religion, academic excellence, and outside interests, I am committed to being a medical doctor and, ultimately, a surgeon.
