I’m just a nice chill dude that likes achieving greatness. I love the feeling of turning in my assignments knowing I did good on it. I also come from a home with a lot of problems. I grew up in a single parent home. My father is struggling right now to help me stay in school. We’ve applied to get student loans but have been denied. And my mother refuses to help me financially to stay in school because of the things her and my dad went through. I’m just 2 years away from being eligible to graduate. All i’m asking for is to help me get through these last 2 years. I’ve made it this far, and now I would love to be able to finish strong and walk that stage.

I have never had the luxury of taking life easy. Every step I’ve taken has come with a challenge, but also a purpose. I’m asking for a chance not just for myself, but for the people who have sacrificed everything so I could have a shot at something better.
I was raised in a one-parent home. My mom has never been in my life, so it’s always just been me and my dad. He has done his best to take care of me, even when he was struggling himself. We’ve never had extra money. It’s been tight for as long as I can remember. But my dad never gave up on me. He always found a way to help keep me in school, and I’ve been doing my best to hold up my end. That’s why I’m asking for this scholarship not just to pay bills or get by, but to give us both some breathing room and peace of mind. We’ve never had that.
My dream is to become a fashion stylist. I’ve already been putting in work toward that goal by styling my cousins and others whenever I get the chance. The compliments and feedback I’ve received so far tell me I’m on the right track. Styling isn’t just about clothes to me. It’s about confidence and creativity. I want to help people feel their best by making them look their best. But I also know how unpredictable the fashion industry can be, so I’ve been planning to get my CDL as well. That way, I have something steady to fall back on and another source of income. I want to build a life where I have multiple streams of income, where I’m not just surviving but thriving. I want to take care of my dad and my grandparents the way they took care of me. I want to give them things they never had and make them happy in ways they deserve.
Community has always been part of my life, especially through Faith Church in Cleveland, Ohio. I’ve been involved in that church since I was young. I used to help clean up after Sunday services and volunteered at special events. Sometimes I was put in charge of helping the younger kids, showing them how to play sports or helping them stay active. That experience helped me build people skills and learn how to communicate better. It taught me how to be patient and how to lead. I didn’t realize it then, but all those small things helped shape the kind of man I’m becoming now someone who gives back, someone who shows up, and someone who works hard for the people around him.
Receiving this scholarship would mean more than you know. It would help me pay for my education and ease the pressure on my dad, who’s been carrying so much for so long. It would allow me to keep chasing my goals without constantly worrying about money. It would also give me the chance to build a future that looks nothing like the struggle I came from. I want to create something new not just for myself, but for the next generation in my family.
All I’m asking for is a chance. A chance to do better, to be better, and to turn all the struggles I’ve faced into something meaningful. Thank you for considering me.

My biggest dream in life is to be able to take care of the people who took care of me. More than anything, I want to reach a point where I can take my grandparents on a paid-for trip out of town whenever they want. They have always been there for me, and I want to return that love and support in a way that really matters. Whether it’s a vacation, a relaxing getaway, or just something simple, I want to make sure they enjoy life while they still can. My goal is to retire them completely, so they do not have to worry about bills, working, or anything financial. They have done more than enough, and I want to make sure they feel appreciated and taken care of.
Another important part of my dream is making sure my future kids never have to struggle the way I did. I do not want them to grow up worrying about money, especially when it comes to school and education. I want to be able to pay for their college and help them through anything they want to pursue, whether it is a traditional path or something creative. I just want them to have freedom without the pressure of financial stress hanging over their heads. I believe it is important to break generational cycles and build something stronger for the people coming after me.
To reach this dream, I plan to stay focused on my education and finish college with a degree that can help me get into a steady and well-paying career. I am also working toward getting my CDL, which will give me another route to good income and career options. On top of that, I want to get into real estate and invest in rental properties so I can have passive income and long-term financial freedom. I do not plan to stop at just one thing. I want to build multiple streams of income, save wisely, and grow from there.
In the end, my dream is not just about money. It is about peace, comfort, and making sure the people I love are able to live happily. That is what pushes me every day and keeps me motivated to keep going, even when things get tough. I know it will take time and hard work, but I believe it is possible. And with the help of you that will make my dream become even more achievable.
