I am a second-year Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) student at Alliant International University, driven by a mission to deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care to those who face the steepest barriers to healing. My clinical focus includes ongoing childhood trauma, complex PTSD, severe mental health conditions, the mind–body connection, somatic symptoms, and developmental trauma.
Born and raised in Israel, I pursued my education across three countries - earning a Teaching Certificate in England, completing my undergraduate degree in New York, and now advancing my doctoral training in California. Raised in a very religious, orthodox Jewish community where women were discouraged from pursuing higher education, I overcame significant cultural, financial, and personal obstacles, pursuing my studies independently while caring for my younger siblings.
My professional experience spans individual psychodynamic therapy at the Center for Applied Psychological Services (CAPS), school-based psychological services for neurodivergent adolescents at The Winston School, residential care for at-risk youth, preschool teaching, and one-on-one caregiving for an older adult with brain cancer. I aspire to establish a community-based clinic specializing in trauma recovery, bridging gaps in care for underserved populations worldwide.
