How would I use my scholarship funds? Most people assume that I would waste or not use the money I have in smart manner. I am different compared to most individuals. I would invest the money I have earned into tuition or academic resources that I may need to pay. By investing into academic resources, I would positively ensure that I am receiving full credibility and accountability. By having credible resources from an academic source, I will ensure that I will be making credible assignments and making a better well-informed decision. All of these combined will provide me a well written and well-built arguments or topic proposals that I may need to write as an assignment. By using this money that I was given on my tuition will be the smartest decision. This would grant myself to relive myself from any loan or debt that I may be burdened beneath. And surely would give me room to have money for other essential needs, if it is housing food or any other need I may have to provide for myself.

I’m someone who believes in the power of hard work, skill-building, and giving back. Growing up, I was always drawn to hands-on work whether it was fixing things around the house, helping a neighbor with a project, or building something from scratch. That’s what led me to pursue a career in the skilled trades. The trade I’ve chosen is construction contracting, because it allows me to combine technical knowledge with real-world problem solving, and I enjoy seeing the results of my work in the real world. One of the things I value most about this field is the opportunity for growth. I plan to master my trade through a combination of education, on-the-job training, and mentorship. I know that success in the trades isn’t just about knowing how to use tools—it’s about constantly learning, improving, and staying current with new technologies and techniques. I intend to complete a formal apprenticeship program, where I can work alongside experienced professionals who can teach me the finer points of the job and help me develop good habits from the beginning. I’ll also pursue any certifications or licenses required in my trade to ensure I’m operating at the highest level of safety and professionalism. Beyond mastering the trade itself, I see this journey as an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to my community. Skilled tradespeople are the backbone of every town and city—they build homes, maintain infrastructure, and keep essential services running. I want to be someone my community can count on, whether it's responding to an urgent repair, contributing to local projects, or offering services to those who can’t afford them. I’ve always believed that the best work is done with your hands, your head, and your heart all working together. That’s why I’ve chosen to pursue a career in the skilled trades because it allows me to solve real-world problems, build things that last, and contribute in a meaningful way. The trade I am pursuing is [insert your trade here], and I’m excited about the challenges, learning opportunities, and long-term stability it offers. What draws me to this path is the chance to master something tangible and useful. There’s a deep satisfaction in being able to look at a completed project and know you played a key role in making it happen. But I also understand that mastery doesn’t come overnight—it takes commitment, humility, and time. I plan to master my trade by being a lifelong learner. I’ll take full advantage of any training, apprenticeships, and certifications available to me, and I’ll listen carefully to those with more experience. I know the value of showing up on time, asking questions, and doing every task big or small with focus and pride. Eventually, I hope to use my experience to mentor the next generation of tradespeople, especially young people who might not realize that the trades can provide a stable, rewarding, and well-paying career. I want to be a role model, showing others that with commitment and determination, they too can succeed in this field. I also want to volunteer my time and skills for nonprofit construction projects, community centers, and other initiatives that make a difference. In short, my goal is not just to be good at what I do, but to make my work meaningful to support others, strengthen my community, and take pride in being a part of something bigger than myself.

I have a deep interest in music, which brings me joy, inspiration, and a sense of connection to the world around me. Whether it's listening to my favorite songs or discovering new genres, music is a constant source of comfort and creativity. My family is also a central part of my life—offering love, support, and shared memories that shape who I am. In addition to music and family, I have a strong fascination with history books. I enjoy exploring the past, understanding different cultures, and learning how events and decisions have shaped the world we live in today. I am currently reading about WW2 Battle of the Bulge. I deeply enjoy war related books. I recently read about Napolean Bonaparte. I am wanting to pursue a college life to get a degree in mechanics or nursing. I feel like I should feel selected for this scholarship because my passions and values reflect a strong foundation for both personal and academic growth. My love for music nurtures my creativity and emotional expression, while my close relationship with my family has taught me the importance of support, responsibility, and perseverance. In addition, my deep interest in history books shows my dedication to learning and understanding the world around me. With the major role that my family holds and shows, they make me feel like nothing is impossible. With wanting to pursue one of two career fields, Nursing or Automotive, Nursing appeals to my compassionate nature and my interest in caring for people in meaningful, hands-on ways. Mechanics, on the other hand, speaks to my love for working with my hands, solving technical problems, and understanding how things function of a working vehicle. I plan to explore both paths while continuing to grow personally and academically. admire the discipline and technical knowledge both careers require, and I am eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. College will give me the opportunity to explore these fields further, gain the necessary education and training, and ultimately build a stable and meaningful future. Receiving this scholarship would not only ease the financial burden on my family but also validate the hard work and dedication I’ve put into reaching this point. It would empower me to focus fully on my studies and pursue a career where I can give back to others—whether it’s through healing or helping keep things running smoothly. With the role of my family and future interests, I feel like this scholarship would help ease and support some financial decisions I might need help with later in the future.

After Highschool, I am wanting to pursue a career in construction. Most of my family has inspired me to pursue this path and achieve a long-term goal. By working in this field, I will show tangible results from my hard work and effort. By working in a team of skilled individuals, I would have a sense of accomplishment. I’m drawn to the teamwork, problem-solving, and physical nature of the work, and I appreciate how every project is different and presents new challenges. By pursuing a career in this field, I will have an opportunity to grow and help build a community and leave a positive impact.

I’ve always had a deep desire to help others. Whether it was comforting a classmate who fell on the playground or assisting my grandparents with their medication, I’ve felt drawn to caring for people during their most vulnerable moments. This natural compassion, paired with a fascination for the human body and health sciences, has grown into a clear purpose: to become a registered nurse. Nursing, to me, is not just a profession—it’s a calling. Through this scholarship, I hope to take a significant step toward fulfilling this calling and contributing meaningfully to the healthcare system and my community. Academically, I’ve always gravitated toward the sciences, especially biology and anatomy. Understanding how the human body works and how medicine can support healing fascinates me. But more than academics, it’s the human connection in nursing that excites me the most. Nursing is where science and compassion meet. It requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to make swift decisions under pressure—but equally, it demands empathy, patience, and strong communication. This unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills is what makes nursing so powerful—and so needed. However, my pursuit of nursing hasn’t been without challenges. Coming from a modest-income family, financing my education has always been a concern. My parents have worked tirelessly to provide for us, but college tuition, textbooks, and living expenses are heavy burdens. I’ve worked part-time jobs throughout school to help offset costs, but balancing work, academics, and volunteer commitments has been difficult. This scholarship would ease the financial pressure and allow me to focus more fully on my studies and clinical training. It would mean I could purchase essential supplies, access academic resources, and participate in internships or training opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach due to cost. Beyond financial support, receiving this scholarship would be a powerful affirmation of my goals. It would be a reminder that others believe in my potential and in the impact I hope to make. I am not pursuing nursing for prestige or financial gain. I’m pursuing it because I want to be on the frontlines of patient care, advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves, and delivering not just treatment but dignity and hope. Whether I work in a bustling ER, a quiet hospice center, or a rural clinic with limited access to care, I want to be the nurse who listens, who acts, and who truly cares.
