Jordyn Sarmoen is an 18 year old dancer currently living in Boca Raton, Florida, attending AW Dreyfoos High School of The Arts. In addition, she has been a part of the Performance Edge Two Performance Company for 11 years, along with rigorously training in ballet at L&M Ballet. She has professional experience assisting Andy Pellick, Derek Mitchell, Holly Ryder, Ricardo Pena, Paul Becker, and Brandy Revennaugh. Jordyn has been awarded honors such as YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Modern/Contemporary Dance and New York City Dance Alliance National Senior Outstanding Dancer, where she toured assisting NYCDA’s faculty during the 2024-2025 season. She has furthered her training at intensives such as Juilliard, Ballet BC 44, Arts Umbrella, and Ballets Jazz Montreal. Jordyn has performed works by Robert Battle, Christian Denice, Jess Hendricks, Madison Hicks, Jordan Pelliteri, and more. She will be continuing her education this fall at The Juilliard School, obtaining a BFA in dance, and hopes to join an international contemporary dance company along with choreographing/mentoring upon graduation.
