Becoming a teacher has always been a dream of mine. Being around kids just makes me so happy. I always like to make the kids feel comfortable and have fun. With teaching, seeing the kids grow while learning is the best. Seeing where they come from in the beginning of the year, to the middle, and then at the end of the year seeing how far along they came is amazing. It makes you feel accomplished, happy, and amazing. I have always been passionate about education and helping you learners learn more.
Ever since I was young watching my older sister babysit i’ve always wanted to babysit. Hen i had that opportunity when I got older. Whether it’s babysitting, or working I always try to do something fun with the kids. Then I had many different opportunities come up. I taught a preschool class when I was in high school. Then I was a teacher's aide for kindergarten while in high school. I also worked at a daycare. Now currently a substitute. With all of my experiences it has influenced me to really want to become a teacher more. As an adult, I realized how much of an impact teachers can have on students’ lives. Seeing the positive influence that educators had on their students made me want to become part of it too.
Becoming a teacher I hope to serve as a role model to my students. I trust that my teaching strategies will be inspiring, and my dedication and passion for teaching will show. I hope that after every successful year of teaching I develop a feeling of happiness, and success.
Another reason I want to become a teacher is that I believe in the power of education. Education can open doors that would otherwise remain closed. Education can give people opportunities they never would have had before. Education can be life-changing for those that take that set to change their life. As a teacher, I will have the chance to help put these values into my students while providing them with valuable knowledge that will stay with them for years to come.
I had some truly incredible teachers who encouraged me to pursue my dreams. They gave me the confidence that I could do anything if I put my mind to it. They inspired me with how much effort they put into making sure their students were engaged and learning in an enjoyable way. Their enthusiasm for teaching was contagious, and it made me want to become a teacher myself one day.
Being a teacher is not just about imparting knowledge from textbooks but it’s about inspiring others to reach for greatness and supporting them through it all. It’s a complex job that requires great responsibility, but one that can be very rewarding when you see your students succeed because of your efforts.
That’s why I want to be a teacher. So that I can make an impact on future generations by helping them reach their full potential while making sure they have fun while learning!

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" Fan Scholarship
Oh definitely team Connie baby!! Just the way he’s grown to love Belly. And I feel that Jer is just too immature for Belly. There’s just something about Conrad that I just love. I think the way he looks and talks about belly is just beautiful. And her being there for them both when their mom passed after everything that had happened was beautiful. But I think his mom knowing before she passed that they were fighting for her but she still knew Conrad and belly should be together. Conrad recognized that he couldn't be his best self for Belly because of his overpowering grief. Therefore, he knew he had to break it off to give them the time they needed apart. Which I know broke him. But for him to get better and grieve he had to do it.
In the latest season where Belly and Jer became super close and more than friends. My heart broke for Conrad. His one true love was with his little brother. Seeing how it had affected him broke me. I know the feeling of seeing the people you love leave and go else where and it hurts so much and it sucks so bad.
When the whole beach house scene happened and Belly made sure she was there to help Conrad even if her and the boys weren’t talking I loved that. There’s just something about the feel of the beach house with their mom, the memories, and the summers there. My heart broke when they were trying everything they could do to keep it. But their dad and aunt had other plans. Even then when belly made sure she was there to help the boys when they needed it the most.
I’d die to have friends like this close that they are like family. I wish with our family friend that we could go on every vacation with them and spend the whole summer at our beach house.
In conclusion, Conrad is the obvious choice for Belly. He has the emotional maturity that Jeremiah lacks. Conrad recognized that he couldn't be his best self for Belly because of his overpowering grief. Therefore, he knew he had to break it off to give them the time they needed apart. But they would hopefully come back together. For his mom’s wishes I’d hope they would get back together and spend the rest of their lives together.
This is why I am team Connie baby!!
