Bold PointsBio
As a biracial, transgender, and disabled student, my school experiences have been anything but stable. But one thing has remained the same: Teaching music is my passion. I am privileged to have learned from inspiring public school orchestra teachers who devoted their lives to making students feel welcome at school. I hope to continue their legacy of introducing the magic of music to future students and making music more accessible to historically marginalized communities.
I am a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in music education and viola performance and minoring in interdisciplinary honors studies.
