I am an first generation Accounting and Management Information Systems student at the University of Houston who is passionate about leadership, professional growth, and helping others succeed. Prior to attending university I attended lone star college simultaneously in highschool to obtain my associates degree before graduting high school. I come from a single parent low income household, however I use that as motivation to acheive my accounting goals. After completing my first year with a 4.0 GPA, earning a Deloitte Tax Consultant Internship, serving as Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi(accounting honors organization), and actively participating in NABA, I have developed a strong foundation for my future career. While I take pride in my accomplishments, going into my second year, I am committed to making a positive impact on campus by mentoring students, sharing resources, and helping others achieve their academic and professional goals.
