Bio

My life goals is to start my business in renovating house where I can make a old run down houses and make it into a nice livable home people would want to buy from all over the world. This would be something I can enjoy for a long time and make enough money to be my own boss and spend as much time with my family.

Heron Wolf Commercial Real Estate Scholarship
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the way physical spaces influence how we live, work, and connect. I remember walking through downtown with my parents and being captivated by the buzz of people, the mix of old and new buildings, and the sense of purpose behind every space. That curiosity evolved into something deeper when I participated in a high school internship with a local commercial real estate firm. I was able to shadow brokers, attend development planning meetings, and help research market data. For the first time, I saw that commercial real estate was more than just properties—it was about strategy, community-building, and creating environments where people and businesses thrive. Since then, I’ve been working to build a career in commercial real estate, with a focus on development and investment. I’m particularly drawn to redevelopment and urban infill projects—transforming vacant or neglected properties into vibrant, usable spaces that bring value to communities. I want to work on projects that are financially sound but also socially impactful, especially in mid-sized cities where there’s so much untapped potential. This scholarship would help me continue pursuing a degree in real estate and finance, while also allowing me to take on hands-on learning opportunities like internships, case competitions, and certifications in areas such as underwriting or Argus modeling. These experiences are critical for developing the technical skills needed to succeed, and your support would help make them financially accessible. The most influential person in my life has been my high school economics teacher. She had a unique ability to connect big-picture ideas with real-world applications. More than that, she believed in her students, even when we didn’t yet believe in ourselves. It was through her encouragement that I first saw a path where my interest in business, design, and community could merge into a career in commercial real estate. Her passion for learning and her belief that education is the key to long-term growth continue to inspire me. She taught me that success isn’t just about individual achievement—it’s about making a positive impact. Receiving this scholarship wouldn’t just help me financially—it would serve as a vote of confidence in my goals. I’m committed to making a meaningful contribution to the commercial real estate field, and I hope to one day mentor and invest in the next generation of professionals, just as others have invested in me. Thank you for taking the time to review my essay. Have a great day!!
Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
My encounters with mental health struggles have significantly influenced the trajectory of my goals. At times, battling through periods of anxiety or depression felt like swimming against a relentless current, making even the simplest tasks seem insurmountable. However, these struggles have fostered resilience within me, shaping my goals to prioritize self-care, emotional well-being, and mental resilience. Instead of chasing fleeting external markers of success, I now aim for a more holistic definition of achievement—one that encompasses inner peace, fulfillment, and mental equilibrium. Mental health challenges have also deeply impacted my relationships. Initially, I grappled with feelings of shame and inadequacy, fearing that my struggles would burden or alienate those closest to me. Yet, as I embarked on the journey of self-discovery and healing, I learned the transformative power of vulnerability and authentic communication. Opening up about my experiences not only deepened my connections with others but also paved the way for empathy, understanding, and mutual support within my relationships. Through this process, I discovered that vulnerability is not a sign of weakness but rather a cornerstone of genuine connection. My journey with mental health has profoundly altered my understanding of the world around me. It has unveiled the intricate interplay between societal norms, personal experiences, and mental well-being. Through the lens of mental health, I have come to recognize the pervasive stigma and misconceptions that shroud discussions around mental illness. This realization has fueled my commitment to advocacy and destigmatization efforts, as I strive to foster a culture of compassion, acceptance, and accessibility for all individuals navigating their mental health journeys. Moreover, my experiences have underscored the importance of intersectionality in addressing mental health disparities, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities and advocating for inclusive, culturally competent care. In conclusion, my journey with mental health has been a transformative odyssey, shaping my goals, relationships, and understanding of the world in profound ways. Through moments of struggle and resilience, I have learned to prioritize self-care, embrace vulnerability, and advocate for mental health awareness. As I continue to navigate the labyrinth of mental health, I am reminded of the power of empathy, connection, and collective action in fostering healing and creating a more compassionate society.
    Beatrice Diaz Memorial Scholarship
The most important thing that motivates me to become successful is my desire to live a life of purpose. Knowing that I can make a positive impact in the world and leave a legacy that will be remembered by generations to come gives me the drive to always strive to be the best that I can be. Additionally, knowing that achieving success will allow me to provide for my family and provide them with the best opportunities possible is a major motivating factor. Finally, I am motivated by the idea of being able to travel, explore, and experience the world, and my success will enable me to do that. Success is something that I have always strived for in my life and the motivation to achieve it has been something that has driven me since I was a child. I believe that success is achieved through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. As a result, I have made it my mission to make success a part of my life and this has kept me motivated and determined to reach my goals. For me, education is an important factor when it comes to achieving success. It provides me with the knowledge and skills that I need in order to succeed. Education also offers me the opportunity to gain valuable experience, which can be used to help me in my future endeavors. Overall, education is essential to me when it comes to achieving success. It provides me with the tools and knowledge that I need in order to be successful and it also allows me to gain valuable experience that I can use in my future endeavors. My motivation to become successful is driven by my desire to make a difference in the world and to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me. Through education, I am able to gain the knowledge and skills that I need to achieve my goals and to make a positive difference in the world. I am driven by the desire to provide for my family and to be self-sufficient. Growing up with my single mother and her three kids, I saw first-hand the struggles she faced, and I wanted to make sure that I could provide a better future for all of us. I am determined to make this business a success, and I am confident that with my passion, drive, and education, I can make it happen. Growing up with a single parent, it was difficult to witness the hardships that my mother went through to provide for her four children. We didn't have the typical family life filled with money and love, as my father was absent due to his drug problems. Seeing my mother struggle to make ends meet, I promised myself that I would make my own business and provide for my family the way my father couldn't. In college, I plan on pursuing a degree in business and marketing, which I believe will be the best foundation for me to create a successful business. My dream is to become an entrepreneur in the renovation business, and I aim to make enough money to be financially independent and take care of my family. This journey won't be an easy one, and I'm aware of the hard work and dedication it will take to achieve my goals. But despite the challenges that may come my way, I am determined to make my dreams a reality. I'm confident that with the right education, resources, and support, I can make my plan a success
