I am a double major at Western New England University (Class of 2024), studying neuroscience (research intensive track) and health sciences, with a minor in chemistry. I recently became certified as an emergency medical technician, and am working part time as an EMT in Springfield, MA, while studying as an undergraduate student. I do research at WNE in the neuroscience department, and I started during my second semester of college. I am a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honors Society. I graduated from Agawam High School, in Agawam, MA, in 2020 with a 4.25 weighted GPA and an SAT score of 1380, while being a member of National Honors Society. I played football (sophomore - senior) and baseball (freshman - junior because of Covid) in high school. I also volunteered around my community. I did work through NHS and on my own. Some of my work includes working with Agawam Youth Football, working the science fairs at elementary schools and the middle school in Agawam, and doing forest clean ups at the state park in town. My goal is to graduate with my two degrees from WNE and go on to a graduate program, either in an MD or an MD PhD program. I am hoping to work as a neurosurgeon once I am done with school and residency. Overall, I am a diligent worker with lofty goals, but I trust that by reproducing the effort I have already put into what I do, the sky is the limit for what I can accomplish.
