      Sports In Action Scholarship
What makes me motivated to play sports is the need to be strong and not give up. Sports to me is important to me as it pretty affects my life everyday, to playing sports, reading about sports, watching it,heck it even affects a lot of relationships with friends and family since I surround myself with them. What I plan on doing for college is playing some college football at St Andrews in North Carolina and I am really excited to be there. Because to me it is a chance to continue playing football but the main reason is so I can get the degree for my dream job which is to be a strength and condition coach. Cause the degree I'll need is Sports Performance, health, and fitness. To explain a little bit of my life story is that I was born in California but since my dad was in the army we had to move a lot. But every time we moved I was always able to make friends with people due to sports, since we were little and didn't have any phones yet I remember living in Texas playing basketball, football, and baseball in our neighborhood being so much fun. But I have a lot of mental issues in my life however since I deal with a depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. It has affected my play a lot and my relationships with friends and family since I have been to the mental hospital before and many hours of therapy which wasn't easy at all. It has definitely been a tough road for me to get to this point especially my senior year. Since I nearly broke my ankle during track and field in addition in the following months I sprained my ankle a additional 3 times which led me to quitting the football team since the coaches wanted me to be a manager instead of playing because they were worried about my health. Instead I took that time to heal and give myself other chances by doing my own workouts and recruiting which thankfully landed me a pwo at St Andrews university in North Carolina. Which leads me to now graduation is coming up soon and I am very nervous but excited, cause I know God has a plan for me and how it will go. Because I wanna be remembered as someone who is a hard worker and overcome many challenges to be winner and leader.
      Bold Motivation Scholarship
Being an underdog. I wanna prove myself to people who have had doubts about me or not a lot of trust in me. Due to being a smaller and less athletic football player I have to work harder than everyone else. Although I may not be the fastest or strongest my support system gives me strong mental strength. It makes the issues in life easier such as helping my anxiety and depression. What I wanna do in life is to just help make people happy or make them feel better. Since I deal with many issues I wanna try to make people happy because it makes me feel better. Such as when I am at work I give some people who are homeless free food or extra food and it makes their day since they go through a lot and not a lot of people wanna help them. Finally football is very important in my life it influences almost every single one of my actions. Like the friends I make, what I do for my future job, and the people I look up too. With this scholarship it will help me out a lot and wherever it goes to I wish whoever gets it uses it for good.
