My name is Jo’Elle, and I am a student who has turned challenges into purpose. After facing personal struggles that once affected my grades and confidence, I discovered my passion for helping others through advocacy and community service. I founded the Student Mental Health & Empowerment Group at my school to create a safe space for students to find hope and support. I also served in student leadership, where I learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and using my voice to make a difference. I plan to major in psychology with a minor in forensics and later attend law school to advocate for youth who lack mental health and legal support. My goal is to use my education to build programs that combine justice and compassion, helping others find the same strength and purpose I found.
