Diversity in the workplace is the most important thing. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know this for sure. Whether it’s the color of your skin, or the gender you identify as or the pronouns you go by, this is the most important thing in the workplace. It goes with feeling included, and having a healthy workplace. Anti-harassment, and so many rules go with this. Their will have to be rules set in place to protect the workers in their workplace, so that everyone feels comfortable in their own environment. The place people spend the most time other than their homes is at work. The happier your workers are, the more likely you are to have better quality work, better reviews, more motivated workers, and so much more.
My career field that I hope to go into is Environmental Science. As someone who appreciates and loves the environment around us, my job would be to promote safety and care to the environment with my job, with keeping companies away from harming the environmental safety as best I can. I am looking to get a bachelors in Environmental science and a Batchelors in Occupation Health and Safety. Health and safety ties to the environment extremely well, and my job would be to promote safe working environments in the job, and keeping the company from hurting the environment around us that keeps us happy.
Diversity is so important in the workplace so that people who have gotten bad stereotypes about black, white, LQBTQ+, straight, or any other kind of people finally have a chance to see what people in the real world are like, and to make diverse relationships within the workplace, promoting healthy environments around us in the workplace itself. Working together as a team is a huge skill for workers to have. A lot of people struggle with that, because of social anxiety with Covid, and so many other things. There are so many things out there that prevent people from working together as a team, and with diversity, the more diverse mindset on the team are going to feel so much more comfortable sharing their smart ideas with everyone, and promoting motivational workers, and a mindset of helpfulness to the workplace.
These things are so important in a workplace. Diversity promotes so many amazing things for the companies, whether it be the smart people they get to hire with a more diverse mindset, or anti-racism and anti-homophobia. It promotes motivational workers, a healthy workplace, and so much else.

The world of technology is upon us. Technology and all of the skills of those who use technology is the direction that the world is facing. Nowadays, everything is via phone, text, email, and social media. And for our younger generation, including me, online gaming.
It is as interesting as it sounds. Covid and the global pandemic pushed everyone to love to stay inside and at home. Those of us would rather stay away from people than with them. This is becoming the center of our society as a whole. Most of the world relies on the internet, and social media in order to communicate and seek out friendship and interaction.
With the amount of online communities, it is no wonder that the world has gone in this direction. It keeps most people’s minds off what is actually important and going on today in the real world. Online gaming communities are definitely a different kind of world than what I am invested in. I am an extroverted person. But online technology, however, is something I am very invested in. Online learning is where I thrive. Being that I started high school and then Covid hit, I have thrived in an online learning environment, and grew up completely in an online community. Going back to school after Covid died down, for most kids, was the hardest thing to do after having the excuse to stay inside.
Online social media is also an addiction. There is a standpoint of it not being good for you at all. It also does impact your eyesight with being on your phone all the time. That being said, for me, online learning is more of the addiction. It gives you organization, a sense of responsibility, a time to manage yourself, and much more perks.
With that being said, online gaming is definitely a different kind of online. It is a lack of learning in most cases, and promotes angry behavior, and the lack of activity outside and in learning itself. With the state of most people, they do not have a good emotional well-being, and that may be a way in order to stay away from people, stay inside, and game their life away. I know many people who have thrown away a career and a life for a PlayStation. It is sad to see the potential wasted of a person in that situation.
There are so many perks to online communities and so many downsides. The best thing to do in any situation is to find the right online community. Technology is the way the world is going. You have to go with it, or you will be left behind. You also need to be better than it by using it for good, and not to get away from yourself and others.
