The biggest problem facing the world today is the lack of identity. The Declaration states, “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness….”
As humans created in the image of God, we are given an identity and a purpose that is greater than we can ask or imagine. At some point you get the chance to take a step back and look at the bigger picture, asking yourself, "What is my purpose?", "Who am I?", "Why am I here?". The answers will never be found in social media, your job, your spouse, or your socioeconomic status. One's identity can only be found in the truth. If the world could come to grips with the fact that the Creator of the Universe loves them, I believe that people would have more faith. There is such a lack of faith in this world. Which makes me question, why does one believe anything at all?
There is nothing better than being able to have a personal connection with the One who created you. Every worry, every financial problem, every relationship issue, every struggle can be brought to the feet of God and there, if you ask, all of your burdens will be taken from you. Because in this life, no matter who you are, you will struggle. Just know that you don't have to do it alone.
What you have done or been through does not define who you are, a flower is still a flower no matter what it endures or where it decides to grow.
