Hi and nice to meet you! My name is Joanna, I'm a 25 years old Warsaw University's graduate from Poland. I've been living above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway and working in tourism here for the past 2 years. In fall 2026, I'm starting my master degree in Journalism at Columbia University in New York. I have a degree in Social Policy and wrote my thesis about prisons in Poland and Norway. I'm also a volunteer game developer and worked in game testing back in Warsaw. I love hiking and travel, and recently had the pleasure of visiting Nepalese Himalayas. In my future work, I would love to write about international politics as well as underground culture and travel industry. I cannot imagine a better place to do that than New York City!
