I am a graduate nursing student pursuing my degree as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). After seeing the impact CRNAs had with my severely special needs sister, I knew that is what I was destined to do. With five years of experience in cardiac and cardiothoracic intensive care, I have dedicated my career to showing up for the most complex and vulnerable patients, like my sister-- never backing down from the difficulty of a case. While being a full-time, unemployed graduate student, I am also a full-time caregiver for my mother, who was recently diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. It is her fight that continues to deepen my commitment to pain management and compassionate care. My goal is to become the go-to provider for patients who need someone who doesn't back down from difficulty.
