Since a young age, I have been passionate about learning about the different parts of the human body, specifically its musculoskeletal system. My dream is to one day pursue a career that allows me to restore and/or work with injured muscles, tendons, limbs, joints, etc. As someone who grew up around physical therapy and athletic training, I have discovered over the years that sports medicine and/or exercise science are fields that I am highly interested in taking up for the rest of my life. My hard-working, reliable, and charismatic traits, to name a few, make me a worthy candidate for any scholarship that I may receive. Success, to me, doesn’t mean money. Success means happiness and stability. It is something that I deeply strive to achieve. When I achieve my goals and true success, I will be more than thrilled to share it with the people who have been true blessings in my life: my parents, who through thick and thin have always supported me and provided for me without batting a single eyelash. I will also give credit to my amazing siblings, who have always pushed me to be my absolute best, even when the rough patches life threw at us were more than difficult. My overall dream for my future is to achieve all of my long-term goals and to become the person that I’ve always wanted to be. Attending college is a big, if not the biggest, step toward achieving those goals. I believe that I am worthy of earning scholarships because I am a dedicated, passionate, and prepared individual who is ready for positive change and growth, not just personally but educationally as well.
