I am a 54 year old Hispanic man looking to return to college. I have been working as a machinist since my early 20's, as I put college on hold to take care of my family. I am a recovered alcoholic who has been sober since August of 2017, and I am very active in the recovery community. I am seeking a career as a counselor for individuals with chemical dependency problems. My ultimate goal is to help others in my community thrive after battling addiction.
