When the COVID-19 pandemic started I saw how the world changed overnight for our children. As a mother of two teenage daughters and a newborn baby, I had to witness the struggles my children had with their education. I want to become an educator because I believe I have a responsibility to leave my mark on this world in a positive way and I believe I can do this by being an educator who understands what their students are struggling with. I believe that children deserve educators who believe that they can achieve the impossible. Too many times have I heard educators talking down on children instead of lifting their spirits and telling them they can achieve anything they put their minds to. I believe I can be a positive influence and really make a change in the way children are being prepared for this world.
