I am an MSW graduate student at Western New Mexico University, building on a sociology background from CSU Chico where I earned a 3.9 GPA. I have balanced my education with full-time employment helping individuals with disabilities find jobs, alongside previous experience supporting children with developmental disabilities. As a first-generation student and a Chicana, my career path is deeply rooted in personal resilience. My goal is to bring advanced clinical advocacy back to my rural community, expanding accessible, long-term support for underserved families navigating systemic barriers and severe socioeconomic hardships.
