Hey there! I'm Jessica Christie, a passionate individual on a mission to make a difference in the lives of young children. While I've always loved working with kids, it wasn't until my Junior year of high school that I realized my calling to become an educator. For nine years, I've been actively involved in 4-H, where I've trained and showcased a variety of dogs, including a Boxer, a Papillon, a Papillon mix, and my current Bichon Frise. These experiences have taught me valuable lessons in responsibility, patience, and compassion. Having personally experienced the support of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) throughout my academic journey, I deeply understand the importance of recognizing and accommodating diverse learning styles. This firsthand experience has shaped my determination to become a teacher who not only identifies the unique needs of each child but also goes the extra mile to ensure they thrive both academically and emotionally. In addition to my academic pursuits, I engage in childcare through babysitting and teaching Sunday school. My sense of humor and dedication to advocacy make me a compassionate and effective educator in training. As I pursue my Master's in Early Childhood Education, I'm committed to creating inclusive and nurturing learning environments where every child feels valued and supported.
