I have many ambitions and goals in life. I’ve always loved science and mathematics and plan on eventually running my own tech business in a Computer Science/STEM related field. I graduated high school with 4.0 GPA and am the first person to attend college in my family. I grew up under the poverty level with no access to basic necessities such as running water. I’ve worked extremely hard to get to where I am today and am trying to break the cycle by furthering my education. I’m currently pursuing a degree in computer science in addition to taking extra courses to put towards professional certificates. My interests outside of my studies include swimming, playing instruments such as the piano and ukulele, helping others, traveling and staying active. One day I hope to have the resources and education to be in a position where I can help those in need and find solutions to difficulties that many families and communities face. This will always be the driving force behind all of my ambitions, regardless of what path I ultimately choose and where I end up in my professional career.
