I read books multiple times a week.
I am a Master of Public Health student with nearly a decade of experience in public health, recovery support, behavioral health, harm reduction, and community-based services. My work has focused on helping people access care, navigate systems, reduce overdose risk, and connect with resources that support long-term stability. I began in direct service roles and have grown into project management, workforce development, community outreach, and public health systems work. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my commitment to trauma-informed, practical solutions that meet people where they are. I am especially passionate about overdose prevention, recovery services, housing stability, health equity, and improving access to care for underserved communities. Earning my MPH will help me continue building programs that are compassionate, evidence-informed, and responsive to real community needs. Scholarship support would help me stay focused on my education and long-term goal of creating healthier, more supportive systems for individuals and families.
