My name is Jessica, and I am a veteran, ER nurse, and passionate advocate for mental health care. I am pursuing my degree to become a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with the goal of providing comprehensive care to veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors. My experiences in both the military and emergency medicine have shown me the urgent need for better mental health support and continuity of care. I plan to open a trauma-focused clinic, develop community outreach programs, and advocate for policy changes that improve access to mental health resources. As a single mother, I am motivated by my daughter and my desire to create a better future for families in need.
