Prior to embracing motherhood, I must admit that my life was plagued by dysfunctionality. I found myself constantly caught up in the whirlwind of a fast-paced lifestyle, lacking the necessary determination to pursue my educational aspirations. Completing school seemed like an insurmountable task, and I often felt as if I had reached a dead end, a point of no return. In the year 2020, a remarkable event occurred in my life that forever altered my perspective and trajectory. It was during this time that I was blessed with the arrival of my firstborn son, Zion Jeremiah. From that moment on, my existence underwent a profound transformation, reaching new heights I had never imagined before. I cannot express enough gratitude for the way in which my son has become a shining beacon of hope and positivity in my life. Though I have experienced the loss of material possessions in my past, I have come to realize that they pale in comparison to the immeasurable joy I derive from accomplishing my personal goals. Adversity may have once loomed over me, attempting to hinder my progress, but I refuse to allow it to diminish my greatness as an individual, and more importantly, as a devoted mother. It is an immense honor for me to instill in my son the invaluable lessons of faith in God and the power of hard work. Together, we will conquer all obstacles that come our way. These transformative moments have left an indelible mark on my life, shaping me into an extraordinary woman who is driven and focused on her ambitions. I am cognizant that I will continue to stumble, make mistakes, and learn along the way, but I am, without a doubt, a vastly improved version of myself compared to three years ago. While the world faced the challenges brought about by the global pandemic, I found myself entering a portal of metamorphosis, growth, pain, and unwavering perseverance. Despite the hardships endured by countless individuals and families, I stand here today, a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Moreover, I am thrilled to share that I have embarked on a new endeavor and have authored a book titled "From Affliction To Wisdom," set to be released on Amazon in 2024. Through my words, I hope to inspire others to overcome their own afflictions and find solace in the pursuit of wisdom and personal growth. In conclusion, the birth of my son has undeniably been a catalyst for profound change in my life. I am forever grateful for the blessings bestowed upon me, and I am determined to continue striving for greatness, both as an individual and as a mother. With each passing day, I am reminded that with unwavering faith in God and an unwavering commitment to hard work, there is truly nothing we cannot achieve. However, fueled by the newfound responsibility of bringing a life into this world, I made a resolute decision during my second trimester to re-enroll in school. With unwavering determination, I persevered and successfully obtained my associates degree within a year. Encouraged by this accomplishment, I am now fervently pursuing my bachelor's degree, maintaining an impressive 3.7 GPA at the end of this semester. With my son as my constant source of motivation and inspiration, I eagerly anticipate graduating from National University in 2024, proudly walking across that stage with him by my side.
