Bold PointsBio
Hello my name is Jessica Bertzyk, and I enjoy doing things outside like hiking, hunting, and fishing. I live in Wisconsin so the lakes freeze enough for people to drive their cars on the ice.
My goals are pretty simple, I want to be well educated and I want to help others to do the same. I am finally pursuing my goals after letting my fear hold be back for so long, and now I am making my dreams come true. Through out life I have allowed fear to hold me back, but I took a stand and decided that I have to stop looking for the right timing. My goals are to be educated and to make the world a better place. I have a few ideas for doing my part, in order for me to start I have to get educated, also to start networking so that I can meet the right people. I would like to have grants and scholarships in my name to help poverty households people get higher educations. The reasoning behind this is I do not believe that we have to be a product of our environment, and we can prove those people who doubted us our whole lives.

Glider AI-Omni Inclusive Allies of LGBTQ+ (GOAL+) Scholarship
My point of view on the LGBTQ Community that they deserve to be treated as equals. I believe that you love whom you love, and they should have the same rights as everyone else. I have personally been with both males, and females. I believe that you love that you love a person for whom they are, and not for their body part. I’m currently attending college to get an associates degree in business management, and then I am hoping to get a degree in computer program or grant writing. I hope to one come up with a grant or scholarship program to help individuals pay for their education. I do not believe that you have to be a product of your environment and everyone is capable of growing and changing if they want it. I want to give members of the LGBTQ community and fair chance in getting an education and preparing for success.
Olympians Academy Leadership Wings Scholarship
My name is Jessica Bertzyk, and I come from a very large family my parents were raising seven kids and we were dirt poor. Growing up there were no opportunities out there for people like us. In fact I can not count how many people said that I was going to fail including my teachers. So I ended up getting kicked out of high school, and started to be a product of my environment. Well let me tell you with that came abuse from men, or being use by everyone.
I woke up one day, and I knew that I was not living the life that was meant for me. So I change a lot, and I knew that I had to grow up. I decided that I had to do something, I had to make something out of myself. I kept telling myself that I was worth more than this, and I was going to prove everyone who doubted me wrong.
I enrolled into college to get an associates degree in business management. I have always felt unworthy and like I was nothing until I enrolled into Fox Valley Technical College, it gave me my sense of value and self-confidences. I never imagined that I could feel this was, I felt on top of the world. During my classes I worked hard made good grades, and now I know that I am worth it and that I will not stop until I make a difference.
My goals now are to get educated, and I know that the sky is the limit. I am currently going for an associates degree in business management. Next I want to get something in either computer programming or cyber security. But my goal in life is to come up with a grant and scholarship program so that the generations that come after me do not have to go through the struggles that I did to get a higher educations! I know that people do not have to be a product of their environment and I am going to help with that. Maybe one day I can offer students full rides through college, and that my programs can make a difference on peoples lives way after I am gone. I want to leave America with a legacy, and I want the world to be a better place and why not start with getting our children educated, even if they aren't rich, or have the resources that comes along with having rich parents.

One day I was out hunting and I shot a large eight point buck, I was so excited my heart felt like it was going to explode. Well like every hunter I had to drag this 275lb buck out of the woods, and all hunter know that they always run to the thickest part of the woods. I have a couple of idea's when it comes to opening a business. One of my favorite idea's is a hunting four-wheeler pro, made specifically for hunters to track, drag, and load their game that's way to heavy just to carry. I know that this idea is going to be a enormous deal for all hunters around the world, because there's nothing like it on the market. I sketched out the basics on the four-wheeler, and I have it with blood tracking lights, along with a blood tracking spot light so that you can look for the trail all around you. I also included two winches, on in the front and one in the back so that you can pull you game from either sides. You can work both winches at the same time incase your pulling you game with one and if your stuck you can pull yourself out with the other. To make my four-wheeler even better I made sure to include suspenders for the winches so they can also help you load, or hang your monster buck. I have also considered different possibilities for marketing and selling my product, the first would be B2B so I would either offer contract to sporting goods companies to sale my product for a percentage or they can purchase the product from a wholesale price and then sell them at a retail price. I would also offer the possibility for B2C I would have a main headquarters where customers could either purchase my product online and have it shipped or they could pick it up. I have also considered multiple different ways to market my product and I know that social media would be one of the best places to get the word out. Then word of mouth once people try my product I know that they are going to want to purchase, this item. I will also do advertising like commercials, billboards, and by mailing out postcards with information about the product. I truly believe that once the product is created that there isn't going to be a problem trying to sale this item!
Bold Growth Mindset Scholarship
“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning,” -Benjamin Franklin
I come from a large family I had five younger brothers in an older sister, so my parents tried extremely hard we grew up in Poverty. Be in the second oldest of seven a lot of my responsibilities fell on taking care of my younger siblings, when I got home I wasn’t allowed to pull out my school work was to clean the house and take care of the kids I even cooked us dinner most nights! I’ve always dreamed of being successful and educated, but it didn’t come easy and it wasn’t handed to me. I knew I was going to go to college but I was waiting on the right time.
It took me years i’m struggling, and heartache until I finally realized it will never be the right time! I am now going on 30 years old, and I left a life than not most people can handle but I am in college now and I will not stop I will climb to the top no matter what it takes. Even if I’m not approved for the scholarship I want people that are younger and older than me and to know that it’s never going to be the right time you have to make the time! And when you want something bad enough don’t let anything stand in your way!
