I am a dedicated, resilient individual who moved from the Philippines to the U.S. about a year ago, seeking better educational and professional opportunities despite personal and financial challenges. As a self-financed student, I was abandoned by my father after he initially helped me transition here, requiring me to demonstrate independence and determination to build my future.
I hold a medical degree from the Philippines, as well as a degree in Pharmacy, providing a strong healthcare foundation. My passion for helping others drives me to expand my skills, and I am now committed to becoming a registered nurse. Currently, I am enrolled in Grand Canyon University’s Accelerated BSN Program, a vital step toward my goal.
Financial constraints have led me to seek loans and aid to fund my studies. I am determined to overcome these obstacles and remain focused on my aspirations. My journey has been marked by perseverance and adaptability, motivated by the belief that education is key to a better future.
I aim to leverage my medical background and nursing training to serve diverse communities in the U.S., advocating for health and well-being. Despite hardships, I continue to push forward, eager to grow personally and professionally as I work toward becoming a licensed nurse and making a positive impact through compassionate care.
