Sustainability of the business administration, particularly accounting should be considered a top concern in the industry due to the fact that companies are the primary players in determining economic, environmental, and social outcomes. Accounting consists more than just digits, it involves assessing the impact directing the right way through decision making, and making sure that the right persons are held accountable the world is evolving around AI to do their work instead of relying on actual people who study hard to get the numbers right. Different environmental issues like global warming resource exhaustion, and pollution are challenges that the planet faces gradually, hence the companies have to be responsibly financially and environmentally. The concept of Sustainability permits the organizations to perform today in an effective manner and at the same time does not prevent the future generations from satisfying their needs. The impact of sustainability on accounting is that it is the financial decisions that turn the resource use directly. The accountants' function is to set the limits for budgets, investments, cost controls, and long-term plans. A company with sustainable practices is through integrated accounting, encouraged to eliminate waste, become more energy efficient, and to conduct their operations in an environment friendly manner. Sustainable practices do not only lower long-term costs but also lessen risk and enhance a firm's image in the eyes of consumers and investors. Therefore, sustainability has become not only an ethical duty but also a powerful strategy of doing business. I envision myself as a future accountant, playing a key role in the enablement of organizations to lessen their ecologic footprint via the adoption of eco-friendly financial practices. I will be an advocate for the green decision making process by monitoring environmental costs, pointing out inefficiencies, and showing companies how they can benefit financially from sustainability measures instead of them using AI to put themselves in more depth. For instance, I can help companies realize the savings from energy efficient systems, paperless accounting processes, and sustainable supply chain management. To sum up, sustainability has to be a top concern in business management if the company is to enjoy both the economic and the environmental stability of the long run. The use of AI in business can make processes more efficient but at the same time, if misused, it can lead to higher energy consumption, lower accountability, and poor decision-making. I, as a future accountant, consider that sustainability should be based on moral judgment, disclosure, and human intervention. I am going to be an accountant who will help the environment by making the technology and financial practices used in the company support the decision of the company and the planet that are friendly to the environment.

The earning of my bachelor’s degree in accounting will not only determine my future but will also pave the way for my family’s long-term financial stability. I was raised in a single-parent family that belonged to a low-income bracket where financial difficulties were a constant state of living rather than a temporary thing. I came very early in life and I could see very clearly the negative impact that the shortage of money and even more importantly, the absence of financial education could have on one’s choices, one’s possibilities, and one's life in general. These things left a deep mark on my notion of success and eventually became a major factor in my academic career choice. In my neighborhood, financial problems were not just the outcome of poor management but most of the time the consequence of a lack of educational and resource access. I could see how the unwarranted poor financial literacy not only curtailed people's lives but also dictated when and how they could progress in life. Non-ambitious people missed out on opportunities not because they lacked ambition but because they lacked guidance. These scenarios opened my eyes to the fact that financial education is power. So, I decided to become an accountant not just for the profession but also for the sake of freedom for myself, my family, and eventually others like us. Getting an accounting diploma would be like having a ticket to the door of financial security and freedom. The accounting profession trains in all the dimensions that an employee needs to be the best and run to the front in the race for a job in a market where many professionals are competing. The skills gained in accounting are basic but can be used anywhere, hence, giving a long-term job security as well as a chance to climb the career ladder. I could not see such opportunities in my neighborhood, so getting this degree is thus more significant. The education will allow me to cut off the cycle of poverty that has been there for generations in my family and help me to provide my family with support that is not only reliable but also constant. My accounting training will be the key not only to my personal stability but also to my making a difference in the lives of others. I want to be the one that helps individuals and small enterprises, that is, the really poor ones, make the best choices concerning their money in the areas of budgeting, taxes, saving, and ingoing and outgoing financial planning for the long period ahead. A lot of people do fail not because they are undisciplined or unmotivated but because no one has taken time to explain the workings of the financial systems. I want to be that person who connects the two sides of confusion and confidence. Besides financial success, to me, this diploma is a sign of personal growth and accountability. It stands for toughness, perseverance, and the idea that one’s past is not a barrier to one’s future. Throughout the process of earning my bachelor’s degree in accounting, I am not only making a bet on my success but also on the success of the people who rely on me and those I intend to help. Thus, in the end, the diploma is a lot more than just an academic accolade it is an accessory for empowerment, opportunity, and, above all, a life-changing process that comes by uplifting one’s own life and positively impacting the lives of others in the vicinity.

Good morning/Evening My name is Jernaya Whitfield, and I am currently a junior attending Phelps ACE High School. I am an active person doing sports inside and outside of school such as track and boxing to keep me in shape. I enjoy reading, journaling and working out. In my commitment to positively impact my community through civic engagement, I bring a set of strong communication and leadership skills. Volunteering is a crucial part of my approach, and I dedicate my time to an after-school program in the neighborhood. By assisting kids with homework and providing a safe space, I contribute to their academic and physical well-being. This not only eases the lives of working parents but fosters a sense of community and support for the younger generation. Moreover, my involvement in the City Wide Youth Council internship amplifies my impact. Addressing community and worldwide issues, we strategize solutions and even have the opportunity to meet with Congress to advocate for change. Through this, I've seen firsthand how youth voices can shape policies and positively influence our community. Being a part of an internship that serves as a powerful avenue for effecting positive change both locally and globally. that is great for the community being able to actively participate in discussions addressing community and worldwide issues, and as a group collaboratively formulate strategic solutions that have the potential to bring about tangible improvements. Through these interactions, I've witnessed the transformative power of youth voices in shaping policies that positively influence our community which other young teens can do too. I understand that some may doubt the impact of volunteering and internships, but my experiences have shown me the tangible difference we can make. By combining my passion for sports, literature, and wellness with civic engagement, I aim to inspire others to believe in the power of individual contributions to community betterment. To expand on my plan to positively impact my community is combining my volunteering experiences, leadership skills, and insights gained from the City Wide Youth Council, I can create a comprehensive plan that positively impacts my community in multiple ways. Like getting people to volunteer beyond the after-school program. See if other areas need this type of program in their community where other people's skills and dedication similar to mine can make a difference. This could involve collaborating with local organizations or exploring additional opportunities within the education sector to help. Thank you
