I am the best candidate when looking at someone to invest in. My life experiences with trauma, substance abuse (familial and personal), and homelessness allows me to be passionate about the work I do and my desire to have the education to further assist in serving others. Since I was in high school I've always been one to help others, then just a few years ago I was told there is a name for the work I do, and it's called social work. I have been determined ever since working as many as 3 part time jobs while in school with several hours dedicated to volunteering each week. I was the nontraditional student for the 2019 Spring semester at ASU- Beebe and also recieved a similar award in 2021 at Harding University for my commitment to serving others. I've taken a year break from school and I am now ready to finish cleaning up my GPA from some mistakes I made 20 years ago and go on to graduate school.
