Hello there,
My name is Jennifer Tran and I am currently living in Jonesboro, Georgia. I am also currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Clayton State University. In the future, I plan on working in the video game industry or working towards a career in software engineering.
I am very passionate about coding and I love to code as a hobby. The current coding languages I know are C++ and JavaScript, and they are both at a basic level. In addition, I am currently learning about the coding language Python and its use in Quantum computing. I hope one day I will be able to further my knowledge of these coding languages and other coding languages.

I always wondered what kind of future I would have as a child growing up in a family of four. I wondered if I could become a scientist, a computer specialist, or an astronaut when I grew up. I never knew what kind of career path I wanted to choose because I knew I did not want to become a doctor like my parents always told me to pursue. My parents were always concerned about what kind of life I would have in the future and would worry themselves about the possibility of me being unable to care for myself if I did not have a well-paying job. So, they always told me to pursue a career in doctoring due to the fact it pays well and that I will be helping people. However, I found and experienced the joy of coding in my high school engineering class that made me and my parents happy that I found something enjoyable and could help land me a well-paying job. This love and passion for coding have led me to pursue a career involving code in the STEM field and led me to seek and learn many coding languages like Python, JavaScript, and C++. My name is Jennifer Tran, and I was born and raised in a state called Georgia. I was raised by my mother, Tien Chau, and my father, Giao Tran, and I am the younger sibling to my older brother. I graduated from high school in May 2020 and went on to pursue higher education at Clayton State University. At this university, I am studying for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and will graduate in May 2024. After I graduate with this bachelor’s degree, I will take a step towards my goal by pursuing a coding career in the videogame industry or a career in software engineering.
The biggest influence of my life that introduced me to the path to pursue a career in the STEM field are game developers like the Japanese game creator, ZUN, and my high school engineering teacher, Mr. Pate. These people have inspired me to study for a Computer Science degree that will help me create codes that are professional for businesses. In addition, they also taught me that creating something involving code takes a bunch of time and effort for it to become professional and useable for businesses. Without this influence in my life, I would have not found an aspiring career to work towards that brought me joy and excitement just from creating and fixing code. In the future, I hope I can become a successful coding entrepreneur that would have their own game company or an inspiring software engineer that would help create code for businesses. With my code, I hope I can change my society and help the people in it experience a better and easier life.
