I'm a first-generation college student raised by two dedicated civil servants who served over 35 years combined. After a decade of shaping young minds as a classroom teacher, I’m now pursuing my long held dream of becoming a registered nurse.
While much scholarship support is geared toward recent high school graduates, the truth is, with age comes clarity, resilience, and purpose. What we want at 18 often evolves as we grow, and I’m proud to be taking this leap toward a second degree with the wisdom of lived experience behind me.
As a nontraditional student, I bring focus, discipline, and a deep sense of calling to this journey. Any scholarship awarded to me isn’t just funding an education, it’s fueling the next chapter of a professional who is fully committed to making a difference in healthcare and honoring your legacy with purpose and heart.
