I want to excite students with creativity and artwork. I want students to be passionate about art and get them ready for their fucture careers. I want to make a change that students can become artists and that it's a viable career. When others seem to think it pointless. I want to give students the opportunities in order to be successful artist in the field. Mainly I want to teach art for I am so passionate about it.

My passion for art stems by getting to create new things from ideas I might have. The possibilities are endless with what you can made and do with art. That why I want to become an art teacher for middle school or high school students to inspire creativity in young people mind's. This scholarship will help me pay for art supplies that I need in my art classes and help me continue to further my education to becoming an art teacher.

This is my ceramic turtle and what inspired to make it is my boyfriend always gives me turtles when he gives me gifts. It started when he went on a trip to Mexico and got this turtle rock. He now always gives me turtles for that his spirit animal. I wanted to make a flower holder that reminds me of him so I made a turtle.
