I always knew I wanted to be a nurse after years of being in and out of hospitals. I saw that they were hardworking, showed compassion towards others, and really loved the work they did. My ultimate life goal is to become like them. I want to be able to give back to my community by doing something I love and knowing that I'm really making a difference.

One of my favorite scientists is Elizabeth Blackwell. Elizabeth Blackwell was one of the first females to ever graduate from medical school in the United States and is a really inspiring person. She also was an advocate for women's health and overall changed the shape of healthcare for future generations of women. Her hard work and dedication allowed for many other women to follow in her footsteps to become healthcare professionals.
