Jayla Johnson Aspiring Criminal Defense Attorney | Community Advocate | Student Leader Jayla Johnson is a dedicated and ambitious student at Texas A&M University, pursuing a career in criminal defense law. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jayla is deeply committed to serving their community and advocating for social justice. As a member of the Multicultural Association of Business Students and the Black Student Alliance Council, Jayla is actively involved in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus. They have also volunteered at a local food pantry in Dallas, demonstrating a strong sense of compassion and a desire to make a positive impact. Jayla is known for their leadership skills and their ability to collaborate effectively with others. As the Vice President of Collaboration for Roundtable Talk, they have organized and facilitated meaningful discussions on important issues facing their peers and the community at large. In addition to their academic and extracurricular pursuits, Jayla has a personal connection to the field of law, having been inspired by their grandfather's teachings and their own experiences. They are driven by a passion for justice and a desire to defend the rights of others. Jayla is a dynamic and motivated individual who embodies the values of scholarship, leadership, and service.
