Dear Selection Committee, Hello.  My name is Jayden Linton.  I am a 17 year old senior at Rancocas Valley Regional High School located in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.  I have a 3.5 GPA.   I was diagnosed with OCD tendencies and anxiety at the age of 10. I take 150mg of Sertraline daily and see a therapist as needed. With that being said, I am excited to express my strong interest in the Michael Valdivia Scholarship as I embark on the journey from high school to college.  As a highly motivated and driven high school senior, my ambition is to major in business marketing with a minor in entrepreneurship; I am thrilled at the prospect of furthering my education in these fields. With an extensive work history that speaks to my unwavering work ethic and dedication, I believe I am well-prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world of business.   Although I’ve previously introduced myself as Jayden Linton, many know me as HolidayVibesTiktok on TikTok and HolidayVibesInsta on Instagram.  I am an influencer with a substantial online presence. I have well over a half million followers and a combined 400+ million views across both platforms.  My work ethic, alongside my creative, and passionate personality, has enabled me to cultivate a diverse, loyal and engaged audience.  To date, I’ve partnered with major companies such as Disney, Marriott, Universal, Topgolf, Stubhub, Fox, General Mills and Six Flags.  My parents have given me the go-ahead to negotiate my business contracts independently, as they know my worth, beliefs and morals dictate if I move forward with a proposal.  This aspect alone has not only transformed my personal confidence and growth but greatly expanded my understanding of business and consulting.   Although I am only 17 years old I am often described as an old sole, wise beyond my years, and incredibly mature.  My decision to persue content creation, and marketing came during the Covid-19 shut down.  With a diagnosis of OCD tendencies and anxiety I often found my brain just stirring and I knew for my mental healths sake I needed stimulation and an outlet.  With that being said, the above mentioned factors, along with a vast understanding of social media, and the eagerness to delve into such an isolated niche, were the formula behind creating Holiday Vibes.   With over 3 years “early” business experience plus a college degree (God willing), I know I am capable of being a leader in the business industry. I have solid negotiation skills, an in depth understanding of human behavior and psychology (due to my own experiences), the ability to meet deadlines, and an unwavering work ethic.
