My experiences with mental health have changed my relationships by making me self isolated in the year 2019 my mother passed away this was the worst thing that has ever happened to me After this happened I had many suicidal thoughts this was mainly because I missed my mom and felt like the pressure to make sure I and my brother were going to be okay. I slowly began to cut all of my friends off and just stopped speaking to them. Didn't want to be around them or anyone honestly this caused my friends to constantly worry about me to the point where it began to annoy them because they felt like I was allowing my mother's death to ruin me in a way. My battle with depression has changed my beliefs by showing me that depression is real and that just because you go through it doesn't mean that you are weak or weak-minded it just means you're going through something rough or you went through something and there's a dark cloud hovering above your head and you don't feel like yourself. This has also made me question my belief in God because it was like why me what have I done wrong why her she does everything for us, she works so hard for us? At the time I felt like god wasn't real if he was he wouldn't have done this to us. I later realized that everything happens for a reason and God knows that. My fight with depression has influenced my Career aspirations by slowing me down and was a big setback for me within football I and my mother had planned on me transferring to play at a high school because my school didn't have football so my mom died and I got hit with depression this caused me to become very unmotivated didn't work out for weeks didn't eat anything I just genuinely wasn't Hungry. This depression ultimately slowed me down from chasing my dreams of making it to playing college football after this I never really did find my love back for anything it's just like the cold is hovering over me. In the end, everything was planned out my mom dying changed me and forced me into maturing faster and forcing me to step up and play a father figure role to my younger brother. He looks up to me and I have to be great for him to have someone who looks like him to do great. I have gotten an opportunity to play college football and this Scholarship would help me and my single aunt a lot with getting through the final stress THANK YOU FOR READING LOVE JAYDEN.HINDS
