Going into college, I plan on pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems. While in college I will apply for an internship at Williams in a technology-based area to get a head start in my career. Using my degree, I will then find a place to work. This could be at Williams or somewhere else that is more appealing and impactful. I will end up working a job such as an IT Manager, Database Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or even an Information Security Analyst. I will work passionately to solve any problem in my work environment such as: helping solve network connectivity issues, problems with my company's database, problems in the security field, and many other issues that may come in my way. Many of these problems will be solved with the skills I have obtained from earning my college degree, but a significant amount will be solved from prior research done on my own time, simply from self-interest. I have spent countless hours tinkering with hardware; so much so that whenever my school has any outdated devices, anything from a computer to a sound system, it ends up in my hands. One device, in particular, a 2012 Power Mac G5, I use as a media server for my household, as well as a server to run the software AirMessage: a solution to run iMessage on an Android. Many of my friends and family come to me whenever they have a technological issue, and I strive to solve all of them, going beyond any of their expectations.
