Right out of high school I knew I wanted to go to college because out of all my cousins/uncles/aunts, I would be the first to attend, especially being the first girl as well. My mom got pregnant with me at 15 and did not continue with school nor did my father so I knew I wanted an education for myself. Attending college I did not know what to expect and I was also going through many changes in my personal life that left me doing not so good in school so I decided to give myself a break. I decided to stick to my job because I needed the money, and I had to help around the house. A situation had happened where I was kicked out of my house and I knew I didn't want to stay in my minimum wage job forever so I enrolled myself back into school a semester later. While working, that was when Covid had first been exposed and unfortunately I was fired and they had to be let go but I knew I had to get back on track with school so it was a blessing in disguise I like to think of it. Thankfully I was receiving financial aid and emergency grants so that was helping me with the little bills I had and was able to stay focused. I wasn't able to get back into the previous college I was in so I decided to go to a community college. I always knew having an education and a degree will help me and my life. I look up to those who have their lives together and those who are so knowledgeable. Every experience I've had since 2017 (graduated high school, started college) has made me into the person I am today. School is my main priority and I feel so good about myself receiving my associates and going back to a university. I feel like everything that happened, had to happen because now I see my future and picture myself as this amazing, bright business woman. I am excited for this and I hope I can receive all the help I can get because it's very hard financially and this would mean everything to me.
Drastically, this will help me in every way because being able to be in school full time has helped me stay focused and help me finish faster despite changing my major. I was sadly kicked out from my mother's home and now live with my grandparents who love and support me about going to school. My grandmother does not work and my grandfather struggles with his jobs because he is 66 years old. So I know not only will this help me. I never had the help of my parent's and financial aid has really saved me being able to continue with school and receiving a scholarship will mean everything to me because I never knew much about scholarships and how they can help you. I just know having any help financially will completely leave me at peace, pay off my student loans, and will remind me to keep going. I hope you can select me and help me out. Thank you so much.

My name is Jasmine and can you guess my favorite Disney character? I hope you guessed Jasmine and not Aladdin. I love Jasmine so much because of her story and especially her love story. My mother came up with the name for me because of her love for the movie and she thought it was the most beautiful name. I am in love with my name and happy I have a pretty name especially named after a lovely princess. I was so happy when they recreated the movie, of course I bought seats months prior so I can be there before the movie spoilers. What is also funny is my last name starts with A and sounds like Aladdin but isn't quite the same spelling.

My absolute favourite book is the Holy Bible, which I chose because it is an inspiration to me and because it has had an impact on my life. This fantastic book has taught me a lot. It is still considered one of humanity's most valuable treasures. It makes for an excellent read. Every sentence in this book has a genuine tone to it. It's well worth reading. The Holy Bible has truly taught me how to live the life given to Jesus, and he has demonstrated to me through his word his love and kindness, love, and compassion that are good every day, his patience, and forgiveness that he grants us despite the fact that we do not deserve them. I remember when I was small I would sit with my grandmother and hear her reading it out loud. As I got older I wanted to remember and hear positivity so I would pick up the Bible and read it. It has brought nothing but joy to me and my life. I recommend everyone to read it as well.

I feel like everything that happened, had to happen because now I see my future and picture myself as this amazing, bright business woman. I am excited for this and I hope I can receive all the help I can get because it's very hard financially and this would mean everything to me.

I just know having any help financially will completely leave me at peace and will remind me to keep going. I hope you can select me and help me out. Thank you so much

So I know not only will this help me, if they needed my help with any bills or emergency funds, I would love to give every little I can. I never had the help of my parent's and financial aid has really saved me being able to continue with school and receiving a scholarship will mean everything to me because I never knew much about scholarships and how they can help you. School is my main priority and I feel so good about myself receiving my associates in May and going back to a university.
So I know not only will this help me, if they needed my help with any bills or emergency funds, I would love to give every little I can. I never had the help of my parent's and financial aid has really saved me being able to continue with school and receiving a scholarship will mean everything to me because I never knew much about scholarships and how they can help you. I just know having any help financially will completely leave me at peace and will remind me to keep going. I hope you can select me and help me out. Thank you so much.

Hello my name is Jasmine Denise Allan. I, Right out of high school I knew I wanted to go to college because out of all my cousins/uncles/aunts, I would be the first to attend, especially being the first girl as well. Bold Financial Literacy Scholarship
A personal finance lesson I strongly believe in, is saving money. Growing up as a teenager I did not have a good relationship with my mother's boyfriend. We were constantly bumping heads so I knew I had to start saving money just in case anything was going to happened. Whether he leaves my mother or I get kicked out. Can you guess which one he did? I was kicked out and thankfully I had some money saved up. If it weren't for that at that moment I would've struggled so much or would of had to pick up double shifts to get the things I needed. In a household like that, it is sad to say but you have to look after yourself when you are of age because you don't want to be stuck. I feel like it was a blessing in disguise because I do not feel so depressed anymore but I always encourage anyone even in a positive environment to save money because you never know. Several situations happen where you run out of money and thankfully school has helped me and I did not know about scholarships till two months ago. I am hoping I am able to receive some or get lucky with just one because I know this past year saving money and spending wisely will help your financial situation a little more.
Bold Great Books Scholarship
The Holy Bible is my favorite book as of right now. I choose it because it inspires me, and I enjoy it because it has had a positive impact on my life. It continues to be one of humanity's most priceless treasures. It makes for an excellent reading. This book's sentences all have an air of honesty about them. It is written in a straightforward but powerful manner. It's worthwhile to read. The Holy Bible has really shown me how to live a life dedicated to following Jesus, and he has revealed to me via his word his kindness, love, and mercy that are great every day, as well as his patience and forgiveness that he grants us even if we don't deserve it. The past year to the beginning of this year has been one of the most difficult times I've had, and I feel like reading The Bible has helped me remain calm and positive about life. I believe in blessings, and I know believing in God will help your thoughts ease a little. I could have said another book, but as of my life is for me right now and the book I've been reading right now really is it. I would like to encourage other's to read it because I believe you will look at life differently and believe God is always with us.

Bold Climate Changemakers Scholarship
I believe adjusting your diet, support systematic changes and change your method of transportation will help with climate. The environment is greatly impacted by what you consume. One of the most environmentally friendly lifestyles is one that is plant-based. Compared to the ordinary individual, vegans have a 73 percent lower agricultural carbon footprint. In comparison to the usual American diet, a plant-based diet uses substantially less energy, water, and nutrients.Other recommendations include cutting back on dairy intake, making Mondays meatless, and experimenting with plant-based options that are beneficial to your health and the environment. Two strategies for addressing climate change are individual choice and systemic change. Our physical and spiritual well-being improves when we take ownership of what we eat and drink. Then, we may utilize our influence to seize the societal and scientific opportunities presented by global climate change. It matters how we travel to our destinations. In the United States, the major source of greenhouse gas emissions is transportation. We use a lot less energy when we walk, cycle, or use public transportation than when we drive our own cars or trucks. I believe these are positive impacts that can help change the community a little more but it takes many to be influenced to understand that it can help so we all have to all come together.
Bold Science Matters Scholarship
Modern living has been made possible by scientific discoveries produced over the world. Examples like traveling by motorcar was convenient and comfortable. Later, the bus and jeep were also put to use. In a few of hours, an airplane may transport us to locations hundreds of kilometers distant. The locomotive, also known as a train engine, is capable of towing numerous trains loaded with huge loads and hundreds of passengers. The bulldozer has greatly facilitated and sped up cultivation. In few hours, it can plow enormous (big and wide) tracts of ground. The pipe engine quickly and efficiently pulls enormous amounts of water from the earth's surface. Because of these things, traveling is so much easier. I couldn't imagine how life would be with riding horses or walking. I think it is a cool idea, but being realistic it will take so much longer to get to our destination. There are so many discoveries that are amazing and so useful and I am so happy there are scientist that can help make life easier for millions of people. If I knew I had it in me to create something, I am sure I would. How advanced technology is right now, I am more than positive there will be many more discoveries that will blow our mind and I am more than positive everything will be in robotic form or we will be flying instead of driving. I can sound crazy, but don't say I didn't tell you. Elon Musk finally did self driving cars, who knows what is next.
Bold Art Matters Scholarship
The term "art" refers to a wide variety of human endeavors and their outcomes, but in this context, it specifically refers to the visual arts, which include the production of visual works in the areas of painting, sculpture, printing, photography, and other visual media. My favorite artistic work is The Son of Man. The Son of Man is a surrealist painting created in Belgium. Rene Magritte painted it in the year 1964. Initially, the painting was meant to be a self-portrait. The sea and a hazy sky are visible beyond this low wall. The man's face is hidden from view by a green apple that is floating in the air. But as you look over the edge of the apple, you can make out the man's eyes. The left arm in the painting appears to be bending backward at the elbow, if you look at it closely enough. The image "simply shows us about humanity," according to Magritte. According to him, everything we see conceals something else, but despite this, we still desire to see what is covered up by what we see. What is concealed and what the visible does not reveal to us has always piqued people's interest in some way. The visible that is present and the visible that is hidden are brought into conflict as a result. This painting, in my opinion, depicts a loss of identity. This is the reason I selected this as my favorite work of art—I can identify with it. There was a point in my life when I was having trouble figuring myself out.
Bold Community Activist Scholarship
Positivity will only do good for our community. If you have a positive mindset and a helpful heart, you will make great big changes. I try to do a good deed everyday so other's can see there are still good people in this world and there are people that see and believe in a change. Growing up I had many of my family members teaching me how and why I should continue to be a good person even when things seem to be bad. There was this elder lady name Lisa Rose that used to come into my store when I was working at Ralph's market and that one day she didn't have enough for her groceries and I decided to pay for the rest so she knows there are other's that still have a good heart. You have to want to help others and support each other because that is only how a community will grow. I try to be a good person because I know it will bring an affect on others and I am hoping they will learn and share the positivity. My goal everyday is to encourage those around me to be a good human being because that is all we need in this world, we do not need anymore negativity. One day I will have kids and I hope they will learn from me and continue it because being that helpful person can really make a change.
Dr. Sharyn First-Generation in Business Scholarship
People who have completed a quality college degree are better equipped to steer their own lives in whichever direction they choose. In college, students have the opportunity to fully develop as individuals. They have the chance to exercise greater independence and assume more responsibility. More self-confidence, more economic security, and the potential to make a significant contribution to the greatest nation on earth are all benefits of a college education.
In the modern world, a higher education is beneficial for numerous reasons. Through personal development, college experiences assist people to genuinely discover who they are. You will come into contact with people, concepts, and subjects in higher education that you would never learn about in high school. It offers millions of people the chance to pursue education. Education is forbidden in many other nations, especially for women. It is critical that we make the most of the opportunities that our nation has provided for us, maximize our educational opportunities, and ultimately maximize our professional opportunities. To help us avoid the exorbitant cost of education, the United States offers us scholarships, financial aid, and community colleges. These privileges are provided to us so that an increasing number of educated Americans can make a positive contribution to our community. I anticipate benefiting greatly from my college experience in the near future. Independence is the first and most crucial thing I aim to achieve from this experience. One of the best things you can do, in my opinion, is have a successful career of your own. Dependant on others is the nicest thing to never have to worry about. It's impossible to predict what will occur to you in the future. You should always have a safety net, and a college degree is the ideal option. The final thing I want to acquire out of college is a wonderful learning opportunity that I'll never forget.
Dr. Samuel Attoh Legacy Scholarship
Legacy means to me when someone did something for others and everyone shines light on that person because they helped changed for the better. For example Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King because they changed lives and help made legacy in this world. I feel like since I've had so many good individuals helping me shape myself up into a positive and helpful person, I will continue to do that for my community. I can say that I love to help others out and want to see future generations doing better than the past. I always try to do a good deed everyday so I know in my heart I helped someone and maybe they can share that so others want to follow to do the same. Helping out can help make a change and can encourage people to follow and do the same. You just need that one person to start an organization for a better outcome. I remember in high school we lived by the Los Angeles River and our school would have certain days where students would help clean out the river and the only reason we did that was because we had teachers explaining to us how and why we should help out and because of that many others can do the same with many different problems in this world. I will always try to do my part because I know I would like to help out.
A person who inspires me was our 44th President, Barack Obama. He helped our country and I am thankful for him.
Olympians Academy Leadership Wings Scholarship
Hello my name is Jasmine and I strongly agree with wanting the best outcome for the future for myself and my future kids. I want to alter so much about the globe in today's culture, but I simply lack the power or resources to do so. I therefore had to consider carefully the ones I believed were the most significant when asked what I would alter about the world. I plan to help with leadership by continuing helping others in every way possible. That can be by when someone is off by a few dollars from their market; add the extra they need, volunteer at homeless shelters more so they can have more help and positivity, and help my community more by investing my time and questioning what can myself and others do to gather the help to help make a change. I am very passionate about leadership because I know it is to want a better outcome for your future and wanting to help out others even when in the times you can not but do anyways. One person can help create an organization that an shine bright for others to want to help better any outcome. It just takes that one person to say something and I am willing to do that for my community because I believe in everyone having equality rights. No one should feel left out or left behind. I try to do a good deed everyday just so I know I felt like I helped a person and that causes happiness in my heart because that is all I want to do.

Hasanovic American Dream Scholarship
The fact that everyone has a different version of the American Dream is what makes us all unique.
A decent work, plenty of money, free time for my family and I, and health would all be part of my American Dream. The phrase "The American Dream" seems to be used frequently when discussing economic status and prosperity. It appears that having wealth and status in society will make you happier and more respected.

School is my main priority and I feel so good about myself receiving my associates in May and going back to a university.
