Growing up I was blessed with a loving, supporting family that always made sure my siblings and I had everything we needed in order to succeed in life, especially in regards to our academics. We relied on God's plan to reveal purpose in our faith. As maturity took its peak, I learned that is not always the case for many of my peers, who did not have the opportunity to grow up in a stable, supporting household. Many adolescents were either abused in their homes or had no positive role models in their lives, which led their futures down a terrible path. God's plan and his purpose for me suddenly was revealed so clearly, and turned into a goal to help those who couldn’t help.By the age of 9 I knew I wanted to have a profession in the Law field.I plan on earning my law degree with dual concentrations in Family Law and Criminal Justice. I feel as if I am a great candidate to award a scholarship because of my drive, accomplishments, and future plans.Helping fund my academic endeavors will allow me to assist my community and take charge in the progressive changes that are happening.
