Bio

My career goal is to become a professional automotive technician. I want to pursue a successful career in the Automotive Industry. The second goal of mine is to find peace and rest in the life God has given me. The third goal of mine is to own my own land in either Montana or Wyoming for food production, and raising cattle along with horses. My passion is to grow my knowledge on the mechanics and operation of vehicles. I absolutely love working with my hands and getting to use my physical and mental strength. I am a good candidate to receive financial assistance because I am very determined to reach my goals in life. I have been employed since I was 13 years old, constantly striving to better myself. I am always looking to learn something new to continue my never ending education. I am supporting myself financially through college, so I can use all the assistance I can get.

The definition of Work Ethic defined from Merriam Webster is, “a belief in work as a moral good.” I believe having a good work ethic can have many definitions depending on the person though. My work ethic comes from my passion I hold for what I do. When I truly believe in something and truly love doing it, I will work for it. That’s when I shift into a higher gear. I will pour my concentration and efforts into doing something I love, that’s what work ethic means to me. I am a woman in the Automotive Industry, I have been for 2 years. I have gone through much strain on my mental and physical health from pursuing the career I am passionate about. Even though the experiences I went through have torn me down slowly and exhausted my body and mind to the point of breaking, I still continue. I am aware of my limits now, and since I have pushed through many times of facing troubling issues related to diagnosing a vehicle’s problem, removing a rusted bolt, torquing a spindle nut to 138ft-lbs, or removing the wheels off a large Ford F-350, I learned how to succeed. I didn’t succeed because of anger and being in the wrong mindset, I succeeded because I was patient with my work and my studies. I wanted to learn. The prevalence of work ethic in my life is shown through my ability to communicate with people, to effectively complete the task at hand, to stay calm and organized in a busy environment and to focus on doing many things at once. I am still learning what I am capable of doing in this field, and I am excited to keep gaining knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to read my application, it means a lot that I am able to apply to this amazing opportunity.
