Hello! My name is Jasmine, and I am an incoming medical student and a first-generation graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Biology and Society, with a minor in Biomedical Research.
I am currently working as a Community Health Educator at DAP Health facilitating group and community-level health education presentations and speaking at events regarding risk-reduction and community health modalities to reduce individual and community risk for HIV, HCV, and other infectious diseases.
This summer, I will begin medical school in California, where I will pursue an MD/Master in Public Health (MPH) to advance my commitment to medicine, social justice, and community health. As a future physician, I aim to work alongside underserved communities, combining clinical care with health education and advocacy to address health inequities and improve access to care for marginalized populations.
